Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.

The golf course at Penha Longa was designed by the renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 1992. It features 27 holes but divided into three distinct nine-hole courses: the Atlantic, the Monastery, and the Mosteiro.

Beautiful backdrop of the Sintra mountains

Each course offers a unique and challenging golfing experience with undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers and beautiful lakes. The Atlantic course is considered the main 18-hole championship layout, and offers a challenging game with a beautiful backdrop of the Sintra mountains.

Penha Longa has a luxury hotel located among the hills of the Sintra Nature Reserve. This five-star resort features a 27-hole championship golf course, spa centre, and 9 restaurants  3 of them Michelin stared. All rooms feature balconies and offer views to the gardens, swimming pools and golf course with 27 holes. the room for the daily breakfast buffet has scenic views over the Sintra mountains.
